Information we process

Nomicam processes information you provide or that is generated when you use the app. Depending on the features you use, this includes:

• Photos you select for editing or AI processing.
• Generated or edited images and related creation metadata.
• Generation requests, status, errors and usage information necessary to operate and protect the service.
• Information you provide when contacting support, such as your email, message, app version or iOS version.
• Purchase or subscription information if paid features are introduced and you choose to use them.

You choose which photos to provide. Nomicam does not upload your entire photo library and uses selected-photo access when that is sufficient for the feature.

Photos and AI processing

When you choose an AI-powered feature, the photo you select is transmitted to third-party AI service providers to complete the requested image generation or editing. These providers process the image on Nomicam’s behalf to return the requested result. You do not need to understand or select the underlying AI model.

Nomicam does not claim ownership of the original photos you upload. Photos and generated results may be processed or stored remotely as reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature, operate the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures and comply with legal obligations.

The app’s local filters and photo adjustments run on your device. Selecting a photo for those local tools does not by itself submit it for AI processing.

Generated images and local storage

AI generation involves remote processing. After a successful generation, Nomicam can keep the completed image and related creation metadata in a local history on your device. You can also choose to save an image to Photos or share it using the available actions.

Local creation history, images saved to Photos and information held remotely are separate. Deleting a local item or removing the app does not necessarily delete a copy saved to Photos or remotely processed information. Contact us about eligible remote data deletion requests.

Purchases and subscriptions

Paid subscriptions, in-app purchases and purchase restoration are not currently enabled. Nomicam may offer subscriptions, generation allowances or other paid features in a future release.

If offered, purchases through the iOS app will be processed through Apple’s App Store and associated payment infrastructure. Nomicam does not receive or store full payment card numbers from App Store purchases. Service providers may help manage subscription status and purchase entitlements when those features are available.

Device, usage and diagnostic information

We may process limited technical information needed to operate and improve reliability, including generation status and errors, feature requests or usage needed to enforce service limits, and security or abuse-prevention information.

App version, device or operating system details, and crash or diagnostic information may also be handled when available through support or platform diagnostic services. This does not mean that Nomicam conducts advertising profiling or extensive behavioral tracking.

Third-party service providers

Selected service providers support AI image processing, cloud infrastructure, app functionality, security, diagnostics and customer support. Payment and subscription providers may support paid features if introduced.

Providers may process information as necessary to perform these services for Nomicam and are subject to the terms, data-handling arrangements and legal obligations applicable to those services. Information may also be disclosed where necessary to comply with law or protect the service and its users.

How we use information

• Provide requested photo editing and image generation features.
• Maintain app functionality and creation history.
• Diagnose failures and improve reliability.
• Answer support inquiries.
• Prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized use.
• Manage purchases if paid features are introduced.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

AI training

Nomicam does not use users’ personal photos to train its own AI models. Third-party AI providers process content according to the terms and data-handling arrangements applicable to the services used by Nomicam.

Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the service, maintaining security, resolving technical issues, complying with legal obligations and resolving disputes. Retention also depends on the information involved and applicable service-provider arrangements.

Some information remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. Images saved to Photos or shared elsewhere are controlled separately. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion period or automatic deletion of every remote copy when a local creation is removed.

Your choices

• Choose which photos you provide to Nomicam and whether to use AI processing.
• Choose whether to save or share a generated image.
• Manage or revoke photo permissions in iOS Settings.
• Manage local creation history using the available app controls.
• Choose whether to purchase a paid feature if one becomes available.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information, or object to or restrict its processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Contact [email protected] to ask about these rights. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

Data deletion requests

Email [email protected] to request deletion of eligible personal information associated with the service. We may need information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant data and verify your request. Information required for legal obligations, security or resolving disputes may need to be retained.

Children’s privacy

Nomicam is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law to independently consent to personal information processing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

International processing

Nomicam and its service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. International processing is subject to applicable privacy law and any protections required by that law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through Nomicam. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Nomicam evolves. The updated policy and effective date will be published on this page.
